Academics

Our chapter of Delta Delta Delta strives to live out our purpose to “assist its members in every possible way”. In order to successfully fulfill this statement, the chapter invests itself in the academic success of each and every member.

The focus on scholarship within Tri Delta can be seen through our significant achievements. This year, our chapter maintained our high standards of academics by receiving second in grades among the Panhellenic community for the Fall 2021. Furthermore, over 173 of our members achieved a GPA of 3.5 or higher in the past year and of those women, over 70 received a 4.0 GPA.

We work to reward the members who exemplify scholastic excellence by giving them special recognition throughout the school year. By uplifting academic excellence, we feel we have seen significant numbers of success. For those members receiving below a 3.0 GPA, a program is provided for their benefit to inspire academic growth. The program encourages these members to complete 6 hours of study hall each week. Along with those below a 3.0 GPA, our New Members are strongly encouraged to also complete study hall hours for their first fall semester in order to help them adjust to the college curriculum and help prioritize academics. Overall, the success of the program is dramatic, as many of the participants see an improvement in their GPA and study habits.

The women of Delta Delta Delta realize that academics are our first priority when attending OU. While being involved in our chapter, there are numerous opportunities to flourish academically.
